Painted Paper Adirondack Animals

For ages 6 and up

We will start this class by loosely painting papers in a variety of colors and textures with tempera paints. These papers will be used to create an Adirondack animal and a bright contrasting background. Students will sketch Adirondack animals using shapes and forms, and then add value and textures like fur and feathers to their drawings, before cutting and placing their animal on a background, resulting in a unique creative artwork for each student!
