March 15th: Initial Deposit Due: $1000
The Arts Center begins collecting the 1st
portion of ACT payment to reserve spot.
May 1st: Complete Payment Due: $1700
Confirmation deposit finalizes payment
and completes ACT reservation.
June 27th: Camp Begins
ACT Staff pick up students from Albany Int. Airport.
July 2nd : Poet Sandwich Concert
Part of the AC’s regional arts and music festival Out in
the Adirondacks, students will get to attend an exciting
evening of music from three nationally renowned artists
in an MTV unplugged, intimate setting. Enjoy the soulful
R&B stylings of Adam Shenk, followed by the remark-
able World Poetry Slam Winner Andrea Gibson,
closed by up and coming folk singer Chris Pureka.
July 3rd: A New Brain Reading
Part of the second day of the OIA Festival, students will
perform a staged reading of William Finn’s Broadway
favorite A New Brain: The Musical.
July 8th - 22nd Godspell
ACT students will work along side professional
actors of the Adirondack Lakes Summer Theatre
Festival in this touring production of the Broadway hit
Godspell. “Prepare Ye” and see takes to be pro as the
show runs for a total of 9 performances.
July 16th & 17th Metamorpheses
Traditionally done in a pool of water, the Arts Center will
be transforming a historic boathouse and the pristine
Eagle’s Nest Lake into it’s stage insuring that this
Broadway play will be the must see event of the season.
Part of the Summer Theatre Festival.
July 20th: Beatles Mania
A culmination of their music and voice lessons, students
will perform solos and group numbers in a musical
cabaret of Beatles arrangements.
July 24th: Camp Ends
ACT Staff drop off students at Albany Int. Airport.
