Tap your troubles away” at the AC this March!
Ever want to learn to tap dance? The Arts Center is the place to be March 6th and 13th for a two part tap dance series. Learn the moves of Gene Kelly and Ginger Rogers as professional choreographer Jennifer King leads you through the shuffles and flaps of this fun dance style. Don’t have tap shoes? Not a problem! Bring your hard-soled shoes to class as the AC is brings Broadway and Hollywood to the Adirondacks!

Art from the Start: African Drum Class!
Put your Recycled drums from the last Art from the Start workshop to good use as your child learns about rhythm, co-ordination and listening skills in this exciting interactive music class taught by Anton Briones!

And… Don’t forget this weekend’s hit Steel Magnolias!
Coming to a town near you, join us for the hilarious heartfelt comedy that inspired the film-favorite.  Revolving around a group of southern women, the salon’s Steel Magnolias arepetal soft, yet tough as nails. Dreams are built and burnt, hope is lost and found, but through it all there is little that can break the bond between these true friends.

The show features local actresses Lori Phoebe Benton, Jamie Strader, Virginia Jennings, Jodie Seymour, Beth Lomnitzer and Linda Rusch. Don’t miss your chance to see what the Hamilton County news called “a smash hit!”
